Indian T-shirt Brands

Some time back I had put up a post talking about one of the new t-shirt start ups from Mumbai, Blue Bus Tees, I was wondering what they are upto. On perusing their site I found out that they had come to Malhar at Xavier's 2008, however the new tees for the month section is empty. It seems they are into some offline activities but online they haven't gotten down to making a mark yet!

I was looking at other indian brands like tantra. From what I understand, Tantra has not been making new designs, they have already made such a mark in the Indian market that the old designs keep translating to sales. What I would like to know is, what plans do they have further for their brand? 

Myntra has started really foraging into Tshirts! In fact I believe their website has gotten a rehaul since I last checked it out. Currently they have this 'green' contest running! They also have this Rs 99 corner where a bunch of tees are available for 99/-

There is also People Tree, this online shoppe has a very quaint feel to it. It makes me think of a little shop with interesting stuff to sell. The stuff is timeless and the same but it sells, and people would buy it again :)

Any brands I missed?? Let me know...

DBH- Shirt of the Week

For you guys who are into funky tshirts, Designs by Humans should be your favourite haunt!! Though the costs are high, most DBH tees are available for $20, which translates into almost 1,000 INR! 

We can always go to their site for eye candy :p and designing tips...

Rock On!

With the movie Rock On being a great a hit, rock is definitely making its presence felt to the Indian Masses. Inkfruit has joined this wagon and announced a new tee designing contest! This contest is named well Rock On! 

Some interesting designs have already been submitted... so if you are a rock fan take your chances!

Just got a look at these fantastic tees at Snorgtees! Many of them are very geeky and funny! Like this one would be great for so many sci people who are pretty bummed about Pluto...

This one is another very cool one, a crack on the computer mouse!

Just looked up this cool video on you tube. Its a guiness world record where the  guy wheres 155 tshirts!!

How did he manage to get the sizes for his last few tshirts!! :D
